Local agencies that are cooperating with the Scouts include I.G.A. Stores, Flemming Foods, W. VA Air National Guard and the National Guard of Virginia.
Last year, Shenandoah Area Council Scouts collected 30,000 pounds of food for nearly 2,700 families in the nine-county area.
