Junior Girl Scout Troop 547, will be having a bake sale on Saturday, Nov. 17 from 9a.m.-12 near the Washington Post Office Building to raise money for Troop projects. Anyone wishing to donate bake goods or money please contact leader Mrs. Sarah Brown 675-3624 or assistant leader Mrs. Ann Simmons at 675-3064.

The Ladies Auxiliary Thrift Shop to the Washington Fire Department will be closing for the winter as of next Friday, Nov. 16. The shop is open on Wednesdays and Fridays 10 a.m.-4 p.m., so come on in and shop for your winter needs before we close. We will accept donations of items during the winter, they can be left on the enclosed porch. We will reopen in the spring when weather is warm.
