Gun tickets available

Christmas bazaar
The annual Christmas bazaar sponsored by the Culpeper Farmer’s Market will be held on Saturday, Nov. 17 and Saturday, Dec. 15 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Floyd T. Binns School in Culpeper. Crafts are needed for the bazaar. The rental fee is $15 for one space or $20 for two. Tables and chairs will be provided. To reserve a space call Donna at 948-3310 or Claire at 672-5311.
Help for abusers, victims
Services for Abused Families Inc, of Culpeper sponsors weekly support groups for abusers and the victims of domestic violence. A group for women with relationship problems meets each Wednesday at 6:30 p.m., and a similar group for men with problems including anger and violence meets each Monday at 6:30 p.m. The location of these meetings is confidential. For more information, call SAFE (825-8876 or 349-0309). Individual counseling is also available; there is no charge for these services.
Gallery offers classes
The Middle Street Gallery in Washington is offering a series of classes, seminars and trips for members and the public at large. They include art for young people, drawing and painting for young people, a watercolor painting class and a fiber art workshop. Cellist in concert
Mary C. Fraley, a classically trained cellist, will appear in concert at the Gay Street Theater in Washington on Saturday, Nov. 17 at 8 p.m. Trained at the Oberlin Conservatory and the Juilliard School of Music, Ms. Fraley plays a beautiful Nicolaus Amati cello, built in Cremona, Italy, in 1675. Accompanied by a piano, Ms. Fraley will play pieces by Tartini, Rachmaninoff, Chopin, Schumann, Debussy, von Weber and Popper. Tickets are $8.50 adults and $5 children and can be purchased by calling RAAC at (703) 675-3193.
Citrus fruit sale
The Rappahannock Music Boosters Club is now selling cirtus fruit through the month of November. Fruit can be purchased from any band or chorus members and seventh graders. Proceeds will go towards purchasing band uniforms and the seventh grade trip. Craft show in Culpeper

Harvest dinner at Chester Gap
A harvest dinner will be sponsored by the Chester Gap Volunteer Fire Department on Saturday, Nov. 17 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the fire department. The menu will consist of ham and turkey with all the trimmings. Cost is $7 for adults, children 12 and under $3.
