Middle Street art class

Appalachian history lesson
The Piedmont Chapter of the Virginia Tech Alumni Association will present Dr. Crandall Shifflett, a specialist on Appalachian history, in a program at Graves Mountain Lodge in Syria on Wednesday, Nov. 14. Parents' support group
A support group is forming for parents of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disordered children. The first meeting will be held on Monday, Nov. 12 a 7:30 p.m. at Warrenton Presbyterian' Church. The speaker will be Debra Maxey, who founded a similar group in Charlottesville. The group hopes to provide information and support to parents of ADHD children and their teachers.
