Thomas and Mary Martin Dwyer were parents of nine children. Two of their sons, Miles Jackson and Alfred H. Dwyer later became father to a combined total of twenty-seven children. Their descendants, many of whom reside in Rappahannock, Page, Culpeper, Warren and Fauquier Counties are numerous. Members of or descendants of the Dwyer family are accounted for in almost every state of the Union.
Thomas B. Dwyer, II brother of Miles and Alfred had migrated to Ohio where he married, and later to La Salle County, Illinois where he finally settled. He had off-spring but we know not their names or number. Richard Dwyer, another brother,
