Nicholas exhibit continues

Lynette Nicholas's one-woman exhibition, "Light Transitions," continues this week at the Middle Street Gallery in Washington. The name refers to her term for a particular style of playing opposite and complementary colors to enhance the light quality they possess, using natural settings and blending colors so they pick up the light within a room and scintillate with it. She has been developing this style for about 10 years. The show continues through Saturday, Nov. 25. ^
