Planning Commission had recommended except that the amendment that would have required that family apartments be located no more than 200 feet from the main house was amended to exempt apartments created in pre-existing structures, such as a bam.
Earlier the supervisors approved Carson and Aileen Johnson’s request to rezone about four and a half acres of a 10-acre parcel from rural residential to village residential. This would allow lots of one acre instead of five acres. One lot on the parcel on which the Johnson’s son has built a house would remain in rural residential, and four new one acre lots would be created.
