Many locals attended the wedding on Saturday of Machelle Smith of Sperryville, including the families of W.C. Stuart, James Mills, and Mike Burns.
Peggy and George Marcey enjoyed having sons Thomas and Eddie home from college to visit for a few days. They have returned now to college, Thomas to Longwood and Eddie to Ferrum.
LoeElla and Carrington Smith enjoyed a visit last week by his uncle and aunt Hayes and Alice White of Pine Level, North Carolina. Other visitors during the week included the Smith’s daughters Lisa Stuart and Teresa Jones and their families; foster son Mike Bums and his family; Sam Smith and family of Linden and her father and step-mother, Reverends Kin and Linda McGlothlin of Centreville.
