through the University of West Virginia in teaching methods and communications. Ms. Senseney taught in Winchester for two years and for the last eight years has taught French at Jefferson High School in West Virginia. She established an exchange program with the high school in her hometown in France and hopes to continue the program with her Wakefield students.
• Edward M. Williams received a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Rhodes College, his master’s degree from the University of Mississippi in physical chemistry, and his doctorate in biochemistry from West Virginia University.
His extensive experience includes teaching at both the college and high school level. Mr. Williams has published numerous articles and received a fellowship from the National Science Foundation.
• Suzanne Wolfe will be the instructor for the senior advanced placement English classes. Ms. Wolfe earned both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees at Oxford University in English Language and Literature.
In addition, she has done additional graduate course work at Villanova University. Most recently Ms. Wolfe taught at Christendom College where she also served as dean of women.
She has published numerous articles and with her husband produces “The Golden Key,” a catalog of children’s books.
Ms. Wolfe will also direct the production of “Talisman,” the school’s award-winning literary magazine.
