In other police news, the Rappahannock Sheriffs Office is investigating the theft of about $500 worth of tools from the home of Phillip Whiteside on Route 637 in Amissville. The home is under contruction, according to Sheriff Woodward, and the tools and house site belong to Mr. Whiteside.
Taken were Black & Decker brand bolt cutters, drywall screw gun, circular saw and half-inch drill; and a Sears sander.
