The Lamb Performance Contest resulted in a tie between Sherry Sheads and Mary Beth Williams for first place. Mary Beth’s tied for first with an average daily gain of .81 pounds. Morgan Hitt and Greg Williams tied for fifth place with .71 pounds of daily gain. Justin Updike was 10th with an average daily gain of .59 pounds for the test period.
In the Virginia 4-H/FFA Performance Carcass Lamb Show, which is a statewide event, Scotty Updike won with a daily gain of .72 pounds.
