Culpeper parties
to mark end
of street work
The construction is finally over, and Main Street in Culpeper is back to normal. In celebration of the end of the work, Culpeper officials are holding a town-wide party on West Davis Street near the municipal building.
There will be a block party conducted by the Culpeper Renaissance Office and will mark the start of the Piedmont United Way’s annual campaign, 8 p.m. Sept. 27.
The afternoon’s events will also include Latin Dancers and an oldfashioned rock ’n’ roll band.
