Homecoming at Woodville On Sunday, Sept. 29, the 139-year-old Woodville Baptist Church will celebrate homecoming. The special service is open to all members and friends of the church as well as to others in the community. Dr. F. Lawson Pankey, retired Director of the Division of Sunday School Development for the State of Virginia, will be the speaker for the service. Mrs. Nancy Norman of the Culpeper Baptist Church and Mr. Holly Pendleton of the Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church will each bring special music for the occasion. There will be a covered-dish meal at the church immediately following the 11 a.m. service to which all are invited. Please bring your choice of a dish to share with everyone. Rev. L. New service at Reynolds Reynolds Memorial Baptist Church in Sperryville will begin a new evening service from 6:30-7:30 on Sunday, Oct. 6. The service will be an hour of praise, testimony and music. Christian musicians are encouraged to bring their instruments and join the service. Child care and babysitting services will be provided. Also on Wednesday evening beginning Oct. 2 the community is invited to attend services which feature various topics and current events and will be held from 7 to 8 p. m. Sunday services at Reynolds Memorial include a 10 a. m. Sunday School and 11 a.m. Worship Service. Rev. Tom Von Fange is pastor of Reynolds.
