Rappahannock County is fortunate to be one of the counties served by the Hospice of the Rapidan. Hospice, which is part of a nationwide organization, is devoted to providing the service, care, and support required to allow a terminally ill patient to spend their remaining time at home surrounded by their family and friends, if they so choose.
In this environment, Hospice believes that patients and families can be free to attain a degree of emotional and spiritual preparation for this final state of life.
