An apple harvest festival, sponsored by the Sperryville Business Council, will be held in Sperryville, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 5 and 6. The event will be held rain or shine.
The following businesses will be [participating in the festivities: The Trading Post, Sperryville Antique ■ Market, That Sperryville Emporium, The Church Mouse, The Faith ."Mountain Company, Southern Drawl Artworks, Country Home 'Antiques & Fine Gifts, Woodsmoke Cafe, Elmer’s Antiques, Horsehoe Hill Family Restaurant, Parkway Gift Shop and Country Manor.
The Trading Post will feature authentic Native American arts and crafts, quilts, beadwork, quillwork, weavings, jewelry, wall hangings, pipes and sculptures.
Sperryville Antique Market will have special antique sales, in addition to a bake sale sponsored by area churches.
Apple butter boiling, children’s games, crafts and live entertainment can be found at That Sperryville - Emporium.
The Church Mouse will feature crafts of every sort, size and shape. Baked goods will be available in their parking lot.
