The Flint Hill United Methodist Church Women will sponsor a bake sale at Settle’s Garage and Grocery on Saturday, Sept. 28 at 9 a.m. The sale will benefit the organ fund.
The Flint Hill United Methodist Church held their annual homecoming service on Sunday with Rev. A.D. Goodson, former pastor as guest speaker for the services. A covered dish dinner was held following the service at the fire hall with approximately 75 present.
Ann and Harlen Jones of Vinton, Iowa arrived on Monday to spend a few days with her mother Mrs. Moffett Brady and other relatives in the area.
