Fire victims benefit breakfast
A benefit buffet breakfast for the Campbells and the Jenkins, who lost thier Washington, Va. home to fire Oct. 14, will be held at the Washington Fire Hall from 7 a.m.-11 a.m. Nov. 2. Donations are welcome.
The cost of the breakfast is $5 for adults and $3 for children 12 and under.

The deadline for 1992 applications for inclusion in the land use program is Friday, Nov. 1. Those who want to participate must call the Commissioner of the Revenue's Office prior to Friday for an appointment to renew their existing applications or to file new applications.

Free haunted house in Flint Hill
The Flint Hill Fire Department's Haunted House,will take place from 6:30 p.m.-8:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct 31.
The entertainment includes refreshments and Halloween candy for the kids.
The event is free and open to the public, sponsored by the Flint Hill Fire Department.
