Jackson District representative Ellis D. Bingham said his main concern in the next four years would be “to bring taxes down and initiate tax relief for the elderly.”
He said he did not believe development would be a problem in the next five years. “In general the county is doing very well,” he said. “The schools are coming up. We have to be conservative, keep the upward trend, but not at the pace of the past four years.”
