thorn District, the choice is between incumbent Sen. Thomas Michie, a Democrat, and retired FBI agent Ed Robb.
Sen. Michie has represented the 25th District, redrawn to include a slice of Rappahannock this year, since 1980. Prior to that he was a member of the House of Delegates from Albemarle County for 10 years. He is a partner in the Charlottesville law firm of Michie, Hamlett, Lowry, Rasmussen and Tweel.
With in the Virginia Senate, Sen. Michie's committee assignments include Courts of Justice, Education and Health, and Rehabilitation and Social Services.
