In the past months Mr. Cordani has spent many hours going door-todoor in a effort to meet as many citizens as possible.
The response received during these visits was extremely positive, and he wishes to express his appreciation to all those who so warmly took the time to talk with him. To those whom he was not able to visit he wishes to assure them that as sheriff he would work with and for all the citizens of our community.
On Nov. 5, we can make a positive change for Rappahannock County. Your vote for Roger Cordani will be a vote for new leadership and a renewal of trust and confidence.

To the Editor:
I’m writing in response to this paper’s editorial endorsement of the several candidates and other ads and letters that have been published recently.
I along with other residents could have done without this paper’s endorsements, as they are soley free political advertisements from the owner (a Democrat) to the party's loyal candidates. Your endorsement of Mr. Wood over our own Bob Darby looked as though you did this under coercion. For anyone with half a brain can see that Bob has been better educated and better prepared for an office of leadership than Mr. Wood. Bob’s involvement in local civic organizations has been bipartisan or nonpartisan so as to have the greatest impact on us “little people." He was involved in promoting a better education for local students long before anyone could have known about the sleazy redistricting plan that removed Andy Guest from the 31st District. He has an engineering degree and worked with nuclear power, something of great importance to the people of Virginia. He started a high tech business in Northern Virginia with four others that employed 2,300. These people probably drove from Rappahannock, Fauquier and Warren counties; the same people that Mr. Wood wants to represent. Mr. Wood, on the other hand, has probably made employment opportunities for no more than 12 employees at one time; a record my small contracting firm could equal.
On the issues Bob has been consistent and with a clear concise answer each time he has been asked his stand. Mr. Wood has demonstrated that he really does not understand the duties of the office in which he seeks election. He has constantly chose to be seen with other Democrat (greats?) than to take a stand on issues that are shared by Rappahannock voters. We did not elect Andy Guest because he has been seen with other people but because he represented the ideals and philosophy of
