victions and nine years experience as a state delegate. We need George Allen in Congress because he will represent the majority of Rappahannock voters. George Allen supports “a workfare program” where able bodied people have to do a minimum of 20 hours work to receive their assistance check; a line item veto for the president; tougher penalties for criminals; and cuting the capital gains tax to get our economy rolling again. He would support family values and try to see that we have more of our money to spend our way - not the way Congress decides. George Allen will vote strong convictions.
In closing I would like to say that I have become disappointed with the campaigning in Rappahannock. It was bad enough to have candidates signs taken down (stakes and all), to have Margaret Haynes’ poster nailed up over Kevin Miller’s; but these actions and the terrible ad Mr. Baumgardner approved in your last issue show that Democrats are des
