The Rappahannock Sheriffs Office is investigating a burglary that took place at the Amissville United Methodist Church last week, according to Sheriff John H. Woodward. The thief or thieves entered through a basement window and stole a GE model VG 4016 video cassette recorder, worth about $200, said Sheriff Woodward. The burglary was reported at 8 a.m. Oct. 25. Also this week: • A 17-year-old Amissville girl was involved in a two-car accident at the Route 642-Route 611 intersection at 10:S5 a.m. Oct. 26, according to Sgt. G.A. Morris of the State Police.
