Mrs. D.C. Welling of Silverdale, Wash, was a Wednesday overnight guest of her mother Mrs. Jean B. Moffett and Mr. and Mrs. W.F. Moffett III and Melanie. Captain D.C. Welling joined Mrs. Welling on Thursday to attend his 20th year class reunion at the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, Md.
Friday night Mr. and Mrs. Greg Pullen and Mr. and Mrs. Ricky Pullen had dinner at Bonanza Restaurant in Winchester.
Mr. and Mrs. Greg Pullen and Caity Waites visited Mr. and Mrs. Jim Dwyer and Jamie on Saturday.
Mrs. Theresa Hensley of Slate Mills and Mrs. Ann Simmons hosted a surprise baby shower for Mrs. Edie Falls at her home in Woodville on Saturday afternoon. Guests were Mrs. Katherine Weakley, Mrs. Lois Peterson, Mrs. Ruth Clark, Mrs. Sarah Brown and daughters Amanda and Bobbie Jo and Miss Lori Breineing, all of Washington, Mrs. Paulette Mills of Stanley, Mrs. Mary Clark of Spen-yville, Miss Sheila Scott and Miss Sharon Scott of Amissville and Mrs. Diana Pullin of Culpeper, also Christopher and Pammy Hensley of Slate Mills and Samantha Falls of Woodville.
Mrs. Linda Clark and Amanda attended a birthday party at the Culpeper Bowling lane in Culpeper on Saturday afternoon for Christy Pullen’s 6th birthday. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Pullen of Culpeper.
Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Skowronski and Children of San Diego, Calif, were expected to arrive on Tuesday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Skowronski for a two week visit.
