John Williams

John Wesley Williams, 59, of Chester Gap, died Friday, Oct. 25 in the Warren Memorial Hospital in Front Royal.

The funeral was conducted Sunday, Oct. 27 at the Tumer-Robertshaw Funeral Home in Front Royal by the Rev. James Burke. Burial was in the family cemetery at Chester Gap.

Mr. Williams was bom Sept. 12, 1932, at Chester Gap, the son of the late Ernest Ashby and Nettie Lee Williams Williams. He was a retired mechanist with the Atlantic Research Corp. and was a member of the Chester Gap Volunteer Fire Department.

Surviving are his wife, Margaret Ann Miller Williams; a son, Cary A. Williams of Front Royal; three brothers, Sherman Williams and Albert R. Williams, both of Chester Gap and David A. Williams of Front Royal; a sister, Phyllis W. Morris of Front Royal and a granddaughter.

Pallbearers were Joe Williams, Bradley Williams, Duane Williams, Bradley Pullen, Ronnie Morris and Dr. Charles M. Huber.

Honorary pallbearers were Roger Lee Morris, Randy Williams, Greg Williams, Steven Williams, Roy C. Williams, Rickey Williams, Glenn Williams and Brian Starnes.
