Nakai show tickets available
Native American flutist R. Carlos Nakai will perform at The Theatre at Washington, Va. for one show only, 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 1. Rappahannock County pianist-composer Peter Kater will make a guest appearance to perform some selections from their collaborative recording entitled "Natives."
There will not be a Saturday show, as previously advertised. The show is sold out.

The RAAC-sponsored Sunday night movie at The Theatre at Washington, Va. this week is "Impromptu," rated PG-13, 7:30 p.m. Nov. 3.
Scriptwriter Sarah Kernochan transforms the real-life affair between George Sane and Frederic Chopin into an enjoyable divertissement staring Australian actress Judy Davis as Sand and Englishman Hugh Grant as Chopin.
Director James Lapine pushes the story to its entertaining fullest, and the players penetrate this film with theatrical brightness.
