The planners found they were unable to take up the revised subdivision ordinance. Only member Susan Parrish had a copy of the ordinance in its current form. Member Arthur Neufeld made a motion, which passed unanimously, to table consideration of the ordinance until the members all have copies “and a clear set of directions from Town Council on what they wish us to do with it.”
Mrs. Parrish said the council had five “big issues” they want the planners to “discuss one more time.”
Member Stewart Willis reported that he had eight pages written on the new Comprehensive Plan. Chairman Louise Van Dort gave him copies of the plans for Orange County and the Town of Warrenton. She said those two plans had been recommended to her as good examples from the northern Virginia area.
