are worthy of coverage. When was the last time you covered an event or activity in Chester Gap, Woodville, Castleton or Scrabble? The weekly Little League games in Amissville deserve coverage. The purpose of a ‘local” paper is to provide support for local events that benefit the community as a whole. You are failing badly in that responsibility. If you don’t find the hard work and concerns of your fellow citizens as “Newsworthy” then perhaps you should step aside and let them find someone who does.
In closing I would point out that very few of your readers really care that Joe Blow from Beltsville, Md. was convicted of driving 70 MPH ins i a 55 MPH speed zone. Why not use page 2 for some meaningful local news.
