He was bom in Rappahannock County on Nov. 25,1903, to the late Hubert F. Keyser and Loula Wood Keyser.
Mr. Keyser was a successful fanner and was a former Chairman of the Democratic Party. He was also a member of the old Oakley Baptist Church. He was Deputy Sheriff under his father and was the last of nine brothers and sisters.
He is survived by three nieces, Lucy Woolfolk Marshall of Chester, Alice Woolfolk Dooley of Forest and Lucy Catherine Caudill of Linden and numerous cousins.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Anne Slaughter Keyser, two brothers and six sisters.
Graveside services were held on Saturday, June 11 at the EasthamSlaughter ( Family Cemetery in Washington, Fodderstack Rd., Route 628 with Rev. Darrell Bare officiating.
