Nellie Johnson
Nellie H. Johnson, 81, of Front Royal, died Friday, June 10 at Warren Memorial Hospital in Front Royal.
Funeral services were conducted Sunday, June 12 at the Maddox Funeral Home in Front Royal by the Rev. Harvey Skinner.
Burial was at Prospect Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Johnson was bom Aug. 30, 1912, in Rappahannock County, daughter of the late Issac and Littie Gay Clatterbuck Horton, i
She was a member of the Front Royal Church of the Brethren.
She was the wife of the late James H. Compton and the late Ervy W. Johnson.
Surviving are a daughter, Linda G. Thompson of Front Royal; three brothers, Willie Clatterbuck, Calvin Clatterbuck and Arthur Clatterbuck, all of Front Royal; two stepbrothers, Guy Clatterbuck of Front Royal and Nelson Clatterbuck of Pembroke; two sisters, Mary Warren of Front Royal and Lillie Baldwin of Reva; three grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
Pallbearers were Richard Cameron, Russell Tharp, James R. Cameron, Mitchell Schindler, Roger Synder and Raymond Lee Partlowe.
