Friends Prepare For Book Sale
The Friends of the Rappahannock Comity Library are getting ready for this years 4th of July Book Sale. The Friends are looking for volunteers to help sort the donated books. Each year the Library receives thousands of donated books but few children’s books. If you have any books you are willing to donate please drop by the Rappahannock County Library or call 675-3780. The Library does not accept textbooks or Readers Digest condensed books, but will accept all other books. ,
Graduation, Awards Ceremony
Rappahannock County Elementary School will be holding its annual seventh grade graduation and awards ceremony at 9 a.m. on Friday, June 17 in the gym. The seventh grade faculty invites all friends and family members to attend. The ceremony is expected to last for one hour. Students may leave immediately following the ceremony with their parents.
Swim Day Planned
The 4-H Center in Front Royal will be having a free swim day for the community from 12-6 p.m. on Friday, June 17. Call 635-7171 for more information.

CSC Transit will not operate on Monday, June 20, an agency inservice day. CSC Transit is a program of the Rappahannock-Rapidan Community Services Board.
