Mr. and Mrs. James Oscar Swofford II of Bedford.

The maternal grandparents are Mr. Ike Bledsoe of Colorado Springs and Mrs. Dolphine Bledsoe of Port St. Lucy, Florida.

The wedding date has been set for July 13, 1904, at the Cathedral Shrine Of The Transfiguration in Orkney Spring, Va.

An evening ceremony will be attended by Jeniffer Foster, maid-ofhonor and Bryan Clark the best man. Ned Swofford and Nikki Rustic, brothers of the groom and bride, respectively will be the ushers. Hans Christain Shankle and Breannah Joy Shankle, brother and sister of the bride are the junior attendants. All of the attendants reside in Rappahannock.

The reception will be held at the historical Orkney Hotel.

Celebration music will be provided for an expected 200 people by Rappahannock County’s reknowned “Okays” - where generations will blend for a traditional rock n roll dance.

After honeymooning in the Massenuttens the couple will reside in Harrisonburg.
