Anne , Virginia Clatterbuck Smelser, 73, of Bentonville died Sunday, June 12 in the Warren Memorial Hospital in Front Royal. i
Funeral services were held on Tuesday at Maddox Funeral Home by the Rev. Albert King.
Burial followed at the Bentonville Cemetery.
Mrs. Smelser was bom Dec. 15, 1920, in Rappahannock County, . daughter of the late Albert and Liz-., zie Atkins Clatterbuck.
She was a past employee of Aileen, Inc. in Flint Hill and was a member of the Luray Pentecostal Church.
She was married to the late Noah Abram Smelser.
Surviving are two daughters, i Brenda Cline of Front Royal and Ann Weatherholt of Bentonville; two sons, Thomas Franklin Smelser and Noah Jack Smelser, both of Bentonville; two brothers, Harvey Clatterbuck of Culpeper and James Edward Wilson of Estacada, Or.; one sister, Mary France of Baltimore, Md.; one step-daughter, Mary Gottling of Maryland; 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and two great-great-granchildren.
