Camps
4-H is providing several opportunities for a camping experience for youth during the summer of 1994. These include Rappahannock County 4-H Day Camp, Overnight Camp with Fauquier County and several special interest camps at the 4-H Center in Front Royal.
4-H Day Camp - The week of June 27-July 1 will be our 4-H Day Camp for children ages 6 to 12. A number of talented volunteer instructors will be teaching classes including fishing, creeks and critters, puppetry, painted T-shirts, arts and crafts, archery, learning through stamps, cooking, gardening, and others. The fee is $25.
4-H Overnight Camp with Fauquier County is the week of July 31Aug. 4. Rappahannock and Fauquier Counties will camp at the 4-H Center and provide a week-long camping experience for children ages 9-12 under the supervision of 4-H teen and adults leaders and Extension Agents.
Scholarships — The Rappahannock County Farm Bureau contributions $500 each year to provide scholarship to local children to 4-H Day Camp and 4-H Overnight Camp. Please request a scholarship application form when you register for camp. >
