Supervisor Ron Frazier was pleased with the turnout for hijj Jackson District town meeting at the Amissville Fire Hall last Thursday evening.

Billed as an opportunity to discuss the county's six-year road plan, taxes, schools and other local concerns, those in attendance seemed most concerned about snow plowing, how the fire tax was being spent and the lack pf Enhanced 911 service for those with 937 telephone numbers.

Robert Moore, VDOT resident engineer, explained that the supervisors will be holding a public hearing on the sixyear road plan at their November meeting. He said it is a "flexible plan" that is updated every year and proposals for
