There is much that is new at FoMoCo this year.
The new Ford Escort sedans and wagons have been re-styled, and have the handsome rounded look of the Taurus that debuted last year. They've also got more horsepower to match their looks.
A new Escort GT sports model, popular with young drivers, will be unveiled this spring.
The Aspire sub-compact returns with minor changes, as well as the sporty hachback Probe.
The Ford Contour mid-size sedan get? new color and trim choices, as well as 15inch aluminum wheels.
After its introduction last year, the restyled Ford Taurus has sold well. The '97 line-up will offer a lower-priced base model.
Look for the new Taurus SHO, which will come with a 3.4 litre V-8, improved suspension, and z-rated tires. The Thunderbird returns with only minor changes this year, after a major re-style in '96.
