To the Editor
The Scholastic Book Fair held by the Rappahannock County Elementary School Library was a great success! We appreciate the support from parents, students, teachers, and other community members in making the Fair successful.
Due to the generosity of Scholastic Book Fairs, we were able to hold drawings daily for free books for students and teachers. Those students who won $5 gift certificates were Jennifer Peregory, Jason Wiese, Sean • Robertson, Samantha Nicholson, Crystal Corbin, Kerrie Moore, Krystal Smoot, Brittany Batchelor and Brittany Bradley.
The winner of the $25 gift certificate for books was David Miller. His teacher, Miss Boerio. also won $25 worth of books for her classroom.
Other teachers who won free books were Jim Roszak, Deborah Flinchum, Harriet Rosenblatt, Terry Genther and Lucy Ann Maeyer.
We also thank the students who willingly became our storybook characters: Nicole Law, Katherine Batis, Eva. Mills and Kori Alexander.
We look forward to our next Scholastic Book Fair which will be held in April 1997. Watch for details in the Spring.
