Friday, Oct. 18th, I met with Sally Keyser and Jennie Frazier. We had prearranged our outing only the day before. The forecast threatened rain in the afternoon but we concluded that we'd make the short jaunt to our destination and back before any serious concern over rain. ‘ We began our trip up Thornton Hollow via Hull School road. A relatively easy walk, well marked trail, so we took our time engaging in convivial conversation. A perfect morning since the fog had lifted. A perfect Autumn morning with a cavalcade of leaves still hanging or spinning, whirling on the slightest breeze down toward the earth, lining our pathway idyllically.
