A pastor appreciation covered dish luncheon was held for Rev. David Small following the a.m. worship service at Amissville Baptist Church on Sunday, Oct. 17. It has been wonderful having him in our pulpit and we thank both Rev. Small and his wife for their work with our church.

Virginia Cooperative Extension will sponsor a parent education course, "Becoming a Love and Logi Parent," which will be offered on Tuesday, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Nov. 5, 12, 19, 26 and Dec. 3. The classes will be held at the Rappahannock Cooperative Extension Office, second floor of the Washington Arts Building on Gay Street, Washington. A $10 registration fee is to cover the cost of the parent education manual.
