Homecoming at RCHS got off to a slow start as the carnival was delayed for a soccer game, but eventually there was a crowd enjoying contests and purchasing foods.

Next on the agenda was a touch football game between students and alumni. The alumni at first only managed a team of eight, so the student squad was cut to that number also.

The alumni scored first on a run by Bill Atkins with Mike Tupper playing quarterback, but the students roared back with two touchdowns of their own and led at halftime 12-6.
