To the Editor:
Last year I was recruited for a soccer coach position. Knowing absolutely nothing about the sport, I read books and watched videos so I'd appear somewhat knowledgeable in front of my kids. At this writing, we are 5 and 0, and I'll just bet you've never seen kids run their hearts out like these.
I have two girls — Amanda and Lara, both just as brave and aggressive as the boys— and 13 boys — Jeff, -Humberto, Steven, Ralph, Richard, Rayland, Tommy, Kevin, Eston, Paul, Carter, Ricky Lee and Christopher who give it all they've got. . These children could be future Olympic soccer players, and I'm honored to be their coach.
And while I’m in the mood for giving praise where it’s due, let me just tell you what the schools are like, from the inside.
