Buick Division
New models in the Buick line-up include the full-size Park Avenue and midsize Century.
The Park Avenue, built on the Riviera platform, is a replacement for the rear-drive Roadmaster. It has a 205-h.p. 3.8 litre V-6, which can be supercharged to deliver 240h.p.
The Century is now built on the Regal platform, making it bigger and heavier than the model it replaced.
The Regal, by the way, will return in a revised form later this year.
The family-sized LeSabre and the personal luxury Riviera continue with minor changes. The compact Skylark gets updated trim and color changes.
Oldsmobile Division
The new Cutlass, due on dealers' lots later this year, replaces the popular Ciera' model that had been ariound since '82. The new Cutlass comes with a 160-h.p. 3.1 litre overhead valve V-6, which is also available as an option in its sister cars.
The Cutlass Supreme sedan won't be available with the 3.4 litre twin cam engine it had last year, the 3.1 litre is the only offering. The Supreme will be replaced by the
