Bower's plans include attracting more business for the mechanical shop, which has not grown as fast as the body shop. To accomplish this he has hired several new people.
Paul Comer, a Cadillac specialist, recently joined ASE-certified technician and state inspector Eddie Gray and frontend specialist Larry Dodson in the mechanical shop. Mechanic Bob Lewis is currently on leave.
Another new addition is Brian Allison, an experienced service writer with extensive background in the Ford Motor Co. product.
Jerry Lewis has been employed by the Bower family since they opened their first auto repair business in Arlington in 1966. “He’san exceptional employee," said Bower. "How can you thank someone for such loyalty?"
Working with Lewis in the body shop are lead painter Mark Anderson and his brother, Jim, who is the prep man; Dean Fox, who specializes in unibody repairs, and detail man Chester Williams.
Bower's wife, Bonnie and daughter Carla work in the front office. Rosemary Faulkner and Julie Reid are in charge of the parts department Bower is planning a face lift for the facility next year and continues to seek new state of the art body shop and diagnostic equipment
