After spending the summer marooned by highway construction and battling huge clouds of dust, the folks at Rick Hunt Inc. are well on the way with a little construction job of their own.

Now located on ever-changing U.S. 29 (Lee Highway) just north of Warrenton, Rick Hunt Ford opened in Warrenton in March, 1973. After many years selling the Ford, Lincoln, and Mercury lines, owner Rick Hunt picked up the area's ChryslerDodge-Plymouth franchise. The two car lines complemented each other, and the business has grown.

About three years ago. Hunt spun off the Chrysler and Plymouth lines, added Jeep and Eagle and became partners with Joe Jacoby in a new dealership in Warrenton.
