He said adding on to the high school and elementary school is not a solution and the board should consider the idea of a middle school in years to come. He also said that even with the current increase in the school budget (which this year won’t require a tax increase) if you look five years down the road there will be a significant tax increase. “It’s something that should be looked at. $16,000 is not a lot to some people, but it’s a lot to me,” he said.
The supervisors thanked the residents for their time and concern. Board chair Charles K. “Pete” Estes said they may have to make some minor changes.
