Rental skates and protective gear are available for $5 per class. Intermediate and aggressive (stunt-skating) classes follow at 1:30 and 3 p.m., respectively.
•The Washington Area Rollerskaters (202) 466-5005 host several beginner and intermediate street skates throughout the week: Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. meeting at the White House, Saturday at 12:15 p.m. in Rock Creek Park, and Sunday at 12:30 p.m. at 16th and Pennsylvania Avenue.
