•Washington and Old Dominion Railroad Regional Park Trail (NVRPA), (703) 729-0596: Mile Marker starts in Shirlington on Shirlington Road and runs 45 miles into Purcellville. Maps are available by calling the above number. It is a paved trail, with a horse trail running alongside it. This trail goes through Arlington, Falls Church, Vienna, Reston, Herndon, Sterling, Leesburg and ends in Purcellville.
