Middleburg Broadcasting Network hit the airwaves in June 1995, producing and delivering radio programming on a regional level. The MBN has received many awards for its productions in competitive markets throughout the U.S.

MBN’s weekly thoroughbred program TVackside, now in its 12th year, is hosted by local horsemen Carol Holden and Sam Huff. TVackside proclaims to be “The voice of thoroughbred racing.” The MBN developed k the TVackside Report, a three-minute segment airing Monday through Friday highlighting “what’s happening,” in the industry.

Everyone involved with the MBN is also involved with horses, so it was only natural for them to develop a series of live steeplechasing broadcasts. This year, MBN will host six meets: the Strawberry Hill Races, the Virginia Gold Cup, the Middleburg Spring Races, the Morven Park Races, the Virginia Fall Races and the Fairfax Races.
