BY UAN LA VALLEY Rappahannock News Staff Writer The Rappahannock High School girls soccer team is having a fantastic season. On April 21 they took Brentsville, 3-2 in their only district game. Their record now is 6 wins, one tie. “Brentsville was 8m exciting game,” said assistant coach Jeanne Grimes. “Fantastic saves by our goalie Alice Gentry, three gosds scored by Jenny Waters — the last scored during the second overtime thanks to an assist by Leslie Wilson — were highlights. The Brentsville game was a high point in our season. It was our first district test against an experienced team. We were focused and we were ready to play.” On April 23 they played Quantico at home.
