BOARD OF SUPERVISORS

RAPPAHANNOCK COUNTY, VIRGINIA

PURSUANT to Section 170-129 of the Rappahannock County Code and Section 15.2-2204 of the 1950 Code of Virginia, as amended, notice is hereby given that the Board of Supervisors for Rappahannock County, Virginia, will hold a public hearing on Monday, March 1, 1999 at 7:00 pm in the Courthouse in Washington, Virginia, in order to consider the following application:

AMENDED #99-01-02 & AMENDED #99-01-03 Susan Hoffman and Michael J. Biniek, owners of Belle Meade Farm, 353 F T. Valley Road, Sperryville, VA 22740, desire to modify Special Exception permits #97-06-02 and #97-06-03 by asking to change the facility for operating a Country Inn and a Day Camp/School from the previously approved octagon to the existing former Belle Meade Elementary School, the existing carriage (red) house, and four (4) new cabins. Note: the octagon will not be built as a result of these amendments. Property is known as Tax Map 54, Parcel 25 and is zoned Agricultural. Use allowed under Section 170-36(B) & (D); additional standards in Sections 170-63(B), (C) and (E) and 170-65(E) of the Rappahannock County Code.

A COPY of the foregoing application is on file at the Zoning Office in Washington, Virginia, and is available for public inspection, Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. Said application will be presented to the Rappahannock County Planning Commission at their regular meeting on Wednesday, Feb. 17, 1999 at seven-thirty in the evening at the Rappahannock County Courthouse for such recommendation as the Commission may wish to make pursuant to Section 170-55, if any. The above-named applicant, adjacent property owners, and any other parties desiring to be heard should be present at said meeting or should address their written comments to the Board of Supervisors, c/o P O. Box 519, Washington, Virginia 22747, in advance thereof.
