Bittinger will also instruct in the various ways to pose and light the subject for different effects.
Shimmering Meadows Farm Studio located near Sperryville will host this workshop which will be totally devoted to the subject of painting the portrait in oil or pastel medium. The workshop will begin Friday, March 19 at 10 a.m. with a portrait painting demonstration.
Spaces are limited to allow for maximun individual attention. Following the demonstration students will begin to paint from the live model for the next 3 1/2 days. Cost for the four day workshop is $ 260 (model fees are additional).
